Day 21:

The rain has stopped but the river hasn’t crested yet so they’re evacuating everyone camping along the river. They think once the dam in Massachusetts overflows the river will rise drastically. Thankfully we’re at a safe distance.

We just slept in and hung out around camp today. Took the dogs on a long walk, Lyla and Roxy made dogs friends and also goats and peacock friends. We talked to the locals that call us “California”. Super nice people with great ideas on what to see and where to eat.

We ended up driving to New London, not too exciting or pretty but had a delicious meal and desert at “Fred’s Shanty”.

Daniel “the maintenance man” did some tune ups on our rig so we’re ready to hit the road tomorrow. Wish we were staying here longer because we love this area but tomorrow we drive to Salisbury, Massachusetts.

See you down the road.
