Today’s my birthday! Danny and Madi sang Happy Birthday to me at 12:01am, Madi made a beautiful trivet (hot pad).
Hailie and her roommate Mallory wished me Happy Birthday on FaceTime. My sweet mom also FaceTimed me. I sure miss her traditional enchilada dinner she makes for my birthday.
Danny made a breakfast buffet of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and muffins. Afterwards, we took the dogs for a walk down to the river. It’s another lovely, blustery day.
Later in the day, we drove to the Ausable River. It was raining and cold, but it was also beautiful. From there we went to the North Pole, New York. Yes, Santa Claus was there.
We enjoyed lunch at Saranac Lake. Then continued to do more shopping. I love these little “Hallmark” towns.
Back at camp, we played Air Hockey, Pool and video games. Turns out we’re all competitive. Who knew?
Now Madi and I are painting in the RV while the guys relax.
It’s been an almost perfect birthday. Missing my Hailie.
I’m so grateful for all the birthday wishes and calls. I feel blessed to have all of you in my life.
