What an amazing day. We started the morning with bagels and coffee by the fire. The trees get brighter overnight. It’s exciting to take the dogs for a walk to observe all the changes.

We then headed up to Lake Placid, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. It is beautiful and astounding when you see the height of the ski jumps (90 & 120 meters).

We rode the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Cliffside Coaster along the 1980 bobsled track on the longest Mountain Coaster in the USA.

After that, we drove to the town of Lake Placid for shopping and dinner. It’s such a cute town, surrounded by all the beautiful trees in full Fall Foliage.

Back at camp, we ate chocolate we bought from the town chocolatier. Madi drank wine from the wine tasting she did in town. Danny is watching the St. Louis Cardinals game, and I’m just relaxing.

Notice our Christmas Tree. Danny put our lights up today.

See you down the road.
