Day 40:
Why did the chicken cross the road? To drop eggs for all the campers’ breakfasts.
This cute chicken walks through camp all day and occasionally lays eggs. The campers find them and make scrambled eggs. Talk about fast food.
Today we hung around camp since we’ll be driving tomorrow.
We sat outside most of the day and painted rocks. I can sit here all day painting. Daniel painted the red and white striped lighthouse and I painted the stormy lighthouse.
We were fortunate to see the geese flying over. It’s always a beautiful sight.
We’re on a corner spot, so neighbors walking their dogs would stop by to chat.
It’s amazing how many people are full time RVers or wanting to become full time RVers. People young and not so young want to live life on the road.
Daniel talked to a fellow Navy Veteran, another couple that travels and work random jobs. I chatted with a teacher, a photographer and a librarian.
Getting to know people and hear their stories is one of my favorite things to do while traveling.
I even invited a few people to paint with us but no one opted to.
Most of today’s pictures are from our afternoon walk here at camp.
See you down the road.

So great to meet you! You are an inspiration for RV full time! Interesting that Maine is our home and our children now live in CA. Thanks for the friendly chat at the campsite! 😊
Hi Maddy,
It was great meeting you too. Maybe we’ll end up in Maine some day. We sure loved it. Keep on camping and traveling.
