Day 15:

Well today we got in trouble driving to our next camp in New Jersey because we crossed a roadblock barrier. We were concerned that the knew route might not be safe for our RV. The construction guy was wonderful and said he would escort us through the closed road until we got to the local police officer and boy did he have a lot to say including calling Daniel a “Jackass”, which I thought was hilarious and kept calling him that for the rest of the day. At least we didn’t get a ticket but we sure pissed off the local police and won’t be doing that again.

We never realized how green and beautiful New Jersey is and apparently were camping amongst the Beverly Hills homes. Beautiful homes with long green lawns.

After we set up camp, we played on the playground, took a cruise around the campgrounds then sat by the fire for a while. A cute little frog hopped by as we were sitting by the fire.

After dinner we enjoyed a game of Pente then realized we have come full circle. We spent our honeymoon camping in an RV in Idyllwild and here we are 35 years later still camping in an RV.

Hope you’re all staying healthy and living your best life.

See you down the road.
