Day 12:

I finally slept in and rested while Daniel took the dogs out, had his coffee and read the Bible. Then I woke and Daniel rested while I had coffee and read the Bible. Nothing like a nice slow morning.

As I sit here reading my Bible, I’m see the woman camping next to us loading up her rig. She arrived alone and is packing up alone. I never saw her outside of arrival and departure. A Middle aged woman traveling alone in her RV. As I sit and wonder what her story is, I admire her for venturing out on her own. I imagine she’s been through some things and just needed to get away. She’s pulling away now and I say a little prayer for her, for this unknown woman to me but very well known to God.

This is the journey I enjoy. Normally I would have met her and learned her story but this time I just needed to sit and embrace and absorb my story, my life, my new season in life.

I hope some day down the road I run into this woman while traveling and get to hear her story.

So we got to see Hailie for about 15 minutes today to drop off some things she needed for her dorm. It was fun to see her in her new home. She’s very excited and has already made many friends. The great news is there were NO TEARS today!

We also got to FaceTime with Madi which is always fun. She is such a joy to talk to and of course I love seeing her kitten Elphie. Thank God for FaceTime, it keeps us all close.

Tomorrow we leave for Atlantic City then New York for the weekend.

Thank you for coming along on this journey with us. I love sharing with you our family and friends. See you down the road.
